Mercedes-Benz recalls 750,000 cars
Mercedes-Benz had to recall around 750,000 cars recently due to a flaw in the sunroof. The vehicles sunroofs could potentially detach from the roof and fly off, causing dangerous road hazards for other drivers. The cars that are included in the recall are the Mercedes-Benz’s C-Class, E-Class, CLK-Class and the CLS-Class that were produced between 2001 and 2011. The bonding material around the sunroofs on those models are known to deteriorate leading to the sunroof detaching from the car.
Tesla recently reached another huge milestone in terms of its market value. It’s stock jumped up by 5% and its shares closed at a record $492.14 per share which bumped up its market value to $89 billion. This put them at around $2 billion larger than the combined sum of GM’s and Ford’s market caps.
